Aubrey O. Dicus, Jr. is President and CEO of the firm. Mr. Dicus has over 40 years of litigation experience. Upon graduation from Emory University with a degree in Economics, Mr. Dicus attended Stetson Law School from 1971-1974. He joined partners Anthony S. Battaglia and Howard P. Ross in 1974.
Mr. Dicus’ litigation practice has been multifaceted. His criminal litigation has involved everything from capital murder cases to substantial white-collar crime representation. His personal injury practice involves automobile accident cases, products liability and significant medical malpractice claims. His civil litigation cases have involved complex commercial contract litigation, extensive probate and estate litigation and class action anti-trust matters from both Plaintiff and Defense perspectives. Commercial litigation has involved successful multimillion-dollar claims. Mr. Dicus has represented government agencies including the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Department and municipalities in government related litigation.

Since joining the firm as an associate in 2000, becoming a shareholder in 2006 and a named partner in 2013, Mr. McQuaid has enjoyed the fastest rise in the firm’s over 60-year history. Prior to joining the firm William practiced Personal Injury law with the firm of Hilbert Law Group. William works closely with Aubrey O. Dicus, Jr.
William graduated magna cum laude from Stetson University College of Law in 2002. While attending Law School, William served as an articles editor for the Law Review. His case note, Hill v Colorado: The Court Escapes a Catch-22 by Making Everyone Lose, was published in the Winter 2001 volume of the Stetson Law Review.
Before law school, William attended Cumberland College, Williamsburg, KY and earned a B.A. in History and B.A. in Political Science. In his spare time, he volunteers as a Guardian ad Litem serving as a voice in the legal system for foster children.

Caitlin Szematowicz is a Partner with the firm practicing in the areas of Civil & Commercial Litigation, Appellate Practice, and Employment Law. Caitlin joined the firm in August 2012. Caitlin graduated magna cum laude from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in May 2012. She graduated cum laude from the University of Tampa, Honors Program, in December 2008.

Andrew R. Pardun is an Associate with the firm specializing in the areas of Tax, Business, and Real Estate Law. Andrew joined the firm in January 2016 after completing his Juris Doctorate Degree from Stetson University College of Law and his MBA Degree, with honors, from Stetson University. At Stetson, he was a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma Business Honors Society and a student member of the Real Property Probate and Trust Law section of the Florida Bar.
Prior to law school, Andrew attended the University of South Florida where he majored in finance and served as President of the Sigma Chi Fraternity and Vice President of the Interfraternity Council. Upon graduation from the University of South Florida, Andrew worked in the financial services industry and was the co-owner of a real estate investment firm in Tampa, FL. Andrew is currently pursuing his LL.M in Taxation at Villanova University. He is an active member of the Saint Petersburg Bar Association and the Real Property, Tax, and Business Sections of the Florida Bar.
